Color Teflon

Should i spray scotch guard on a teflon coated microfiber sofa for additional stain protection?

it's a beige color fabric... just wondering if scotch guard will work on top of the teflon coating. I just got the couch from Eurway.

Because there is a guarantee on the teflon coating, I would not recommend that you apply anything else to it unless you have it in writing from the company that provided it. If the sofa came pre-treated with Teflon, speak to your sales rep at the store and ask for documentation. Applying anything not recommended could void your guarantee should something go wrong.

Another issue would be that the Scotch Guard probably would not take properly as the teflon creates a less porous finish.
