What's the difference between Triple A and Double A high school baseball teams?

It's school classification for student size for balancing competition (so a 5,000 student school doesn't compete against a 750 student school, etc). 2A is smaller schools by student size compared to 3A, but bigger than 1A (classes depends on your state you're in, some states go 1A-4A, 1A-8A, some use B & A classification) check out your state's high school association website to find out which high schools are in which class (most have a list or detailed explanation of classification)

It is not a difference in talent level as in college or professional sports, but larger schools do have a better chance of having better players just based on number of students.
