Solid Black

Do solid or mostly black shirts look ok on a guy?
I have a comfort zone where I like to wear solid black or black as the main background color in polos, button downs, and t shirts. I will wear with dark blue or light blue jeans and black shoes. Yes I have black boots, black sneakers and even black flip flops.
You sound about as adventurous in your colours as I am! Just about everything I have is black (or close to it). So I *hope* it looks ok!
