Mid School

Is there anyone in their mid-twenties to return to school?

I am 25 years old and looking back to school to become a teacher. What are the right steps to find the best school, and financial aid? Thank you all for excellent answers useful. William K thank you for encouragement.

I'm 28 and I just got my bachelor's degree. I intend to be a teacher. My sig. other colleges began when he was 30. For financial assistance first, you must complete the FAFSA (fafsa.ed.gov). After that check with your school's financial aid office to see if there is no end. Requests for assistance you need to attend school and / or state aid office. Also, you may be eligible for the subsidy Teach (teachgrant.ed.gov). Being a teacher, after 5 years you may qualify to have some of your loans forgiven (http://studentaid.ed.gov/PORTALSWebApp/students/english/teachercancel.jsp?tab=repaying). Like to find a school, I started at a community college, too. The benefit was small classes and dedicated instructors teaching, we had a lack of resources and dull to the school counselor. Even though I got federal grants and loans I had to work full time when a community college, while I had a lot more financial aid when I was transferred a large state university so I can afford to just work part time. Make sure that whatever university you are interested in the research you their school education to ensure it has a good reputation and that his area of importance (Primary? Secondary? Special ed integrated?) Corresponds to yours. Once you're in college sure to join the group of students non-traditional school. I was not active in my group (mostly they are older students and family oriented) but they have really a great resource when I needed help finding information and help.
